A New Shift in Focus

Today starts a new week. A new day. And a new shift in focus as we enter into a new quarter.

During this time in our lives, it’s good to self-reflect and appreciate all the little things we may have taken for granted such as a walk on the beach or a picnic in the park with a friend, or even going to your favorite restaurant for a fun dine in experience.

Now, it’s time to shift your focus, into a new appreciation. For those that are still employed, appreciate the fact that we have a job. For those unemployed, appreciate the roof over your head and the time to spend with family or explore a new passion of yours.
Sometimes our greatest trials are simply blessings in disguise.

One of my favorite songs is blessings by Laura story. The chorus below is the message Id like to leave you all with: “Cause what if your blessings come through raindrops
What if Your healing comes through tears
What if a thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know You’re near
What if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise”

God has a plan for this world. Trust that the outcome will be greater than the trials we are facing today.
So, as I sit here today, working remotely, I’m thankful for all the blessings in disguise;

  • more time with family
  • saving money
  • at home workouts
  • fresh home cooked meals
  • ability to accommodate client calls easier
  • more FaceTime calls
  • TIME TIME TIME

    I am most thankful to be healthy , I can move ,I can breath , I have a roof over my head, I have life. Although it may not be in the way I want, or we as a country want, but today we had another day of life.
    And that in itself is something to be thankful for! 🌙
